When your children bring you treasures... treasure them!
"Mommy I found this for you!"
I love all the ways my children stop their day when they see something that Mommy must have! Rocks, pennies, bugs, mostly flowers and sticks, to name a few. I struggled with ideas for how to preserve these moments beyond pictures for years, Until now!
Now I turn them into Mini Gardens and place them around the house. I keep a small box of the amazing things they find until I find inspiration from the perfect pot, frame or bowl to showcase them in.
"How To" is Kind of Irrelevant...
Your personal touch is the most effective way to add anything to your life. I personally love house plants, so I often take an ordinary plant and just fill the pot with rocks and seashells they have collected. Super simple and still adorable. I have listed a few more ideas below.
You can:
-Place them in Shadow Boxes and hang them on the wall.
-Take a nice photo of things gathered and frame it, or have the photo printed at Easy Canvas Prints for a polished look. (they are currently having an 85% off Spring Sale)
-Place a Bowl of Colorful gathered Fall Leaves and acorns on your coffee table.
The idea is just to have little galleries around your house that make you smile when you walk by. The possibilities are endless, and the effort is minimal, but the treasures are priceless!
